Thanks for posting this. I can see I need to order one. It will be a nice addition to the snake room art work.

Very cool... has anyone actually seen a green ordinoides like that?
Wow! I'll take a green and a blue please

Brian, don't know if you've seen this one: http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/gart...html#post75604

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside

I'd love to have that, but OUCH! the price. I have never seen one with green like that, or one as blue as that, but I've seen them bluish that look sort of like count dewclaw's avatar. See the video I uploaded to youtube: YouTube - I lick you! Can we be friends?
The video doesn't do it justice, he gave the impression of being "washed" in a sky blue color in real life.

I've also seen speckled or checkered-looking one's with no stripes, and of course, twice I found melanistics like the one on the poster. No green though. At least there aren't any like that around here. But yeah, the variations are amazing. I had a female that gave birth to 7 young. Only 2 of them were alike!

That's funny...I told him the price was too low. It should be 19.95. He prints them in small numbers, so they cost a lot...

    Re: New Garter Snake Poster

It's just a piece of paper. I understand. I produce some things which I won't mention here, that are costly to produce, but then you look at what they are made of, it's tough to justify the cost. And so, I only produce said product for those that can't live without it because it's just so darn cool. Once I get past a few produced, the cost goes way down.

I think that poster is way cool. And it's something I am interested in having. I'm just not willing to step over that line that makes me pay what amounts to $20 for a poster. I think I'll wait 'till spring when I can get some awesome photo's of ordinoides (and other garters) and make my own! Of course, if I actually do that, everyone on the forum would be welcome to have one AT COST.
