    Claire's Snakes

Hi all, I dont usually post anything on here but I'm always hanging around and reading what others have to say. Anyhow, finally got some half decent pictures of the snakes I currently have, so thought it would be good to share

Not pictured is a female peninsula ribbon, she is very skittish and dislikes being held or got out, so I didnt disturb her.

Hi Rhea, nope the checkereds came from someone i know who no longer wanted them. He was getting into keeping frogs rather than snakes, and knowing i like garters he gave them me so could give them a good home

    Re: Claire's Snakes

Alright, time to dig up an old thread, thought it was high time i update this with some new and old piccys of what i have now.

I only have 3 snakes now, a pair of 2/3 year old checkereds and an 8 year old californian redsided.

First up, Spot, the female checkered, pictured right after having her 3 babies earlier this year.

and the male, still havent got a good name for this guy.

    and Luna

Despite what other members say, this girl is one of the nicest snakes ive ever owned. Infact when i first got her, she was very timid, would run away whenever i came near the tank and was very picky about eating. But these days she loves her mice, and is great to handle, only ever times she as bitten me is when i scared her or she just didnt want to be disturbed.
