    Garter Snake Diary

    Im picking my 2 baby Garter snake's up on Wednesday. I'm really excited. I'm going to keep this page as a diary so I keep you all updated and ask for any advice.

    i picked the garters up on wednesday finally.
    Can i put normal snake tank wood chips in there tub wen i change them out or do i have to put mud in there

    Put mud where? In the aquarium? What do you mean by "change them out"?

    It is generally not a good idea to expose your snakes to mud and dirt, especially if you're snakes are store-bought. Depending on where you got the dirt, it could contain pesticides, fertilizers, harmful bacteria, and parasites.
