    Hi Guys,

    I am from South-Africa, and I would do just about anything to get my hands on a few of those SF Garters, as I understand from this forum/post that they are very common under the pet trade in Europe?!?!?!

    If anyone out there is willing to export them to SA I will be more than ever grateful!!
    I have 2 x Thamnophis marcianus and I love garter snakes! they are AWESOME!!

    And I want expand my collection, these are really nice snakes, and intelligent considering their tiny brains, and Inquisitive to, not as difficult to care for, eats just about anything, eventhough I am wary of where thier food comes from, actually started breeding with earthworms just to feed my garters lol, got two tubs full!

    I do, seriously bad mate! I currently own
    2 x Checkered Garter Thamnophis marcianus
    2 x savannah monitors
    2 x kenyan sand boas
    2 x BCI's
    3 x scorps : 2 x african red claws & 1 x flat rock

    But I want more garters and really want to start specializing in them, if you know of anyone that is selling and willing to export to South-Africa please let me know before I loose sanity, I already have 4 vivariums ready for them!
    just need tenants hehe

    please, please let me know < that's how I feel...

    Greetings ... but I think you'll find that exporting to SA has some serious red tape and costs involved. You should check all of your local legal requirements and ensure the safe/comfortable transport of your snakes ... and I would suggest to anyone considering a sale to use paypal for the money side of things. I have to say, no disrespect intended, but there certainly are a lot of money scams involving collection fees via a postage scam/money laundering from Africa. So guarranteed payment through a service such as paypal is a must (do not under any circumstances accept a western union money transfer or similar).
