I use photobucket Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket Then it will give you an image url to use on the forum. Just copy and paste it into your post. Good luck

That looks like a checkered to me! checkereds also have black blotches behind their head and necks similar to blacknecks. Actually my boyfriend just commented to me yesterday how much the checkereds that were just born here resemble a blackneck with their crisp patterns and black tiger markings on their necks!!!

darnit ....i thought it was a cross beed caus both checkers and blacknecks are in my area and i havent seen one with blotches before...ill post more pics

Here's a page of someone in Texas who's been documenting the snakes he's found. It shows a black neck above a checkered with clear neck bars.
