    Eating during delivery?

    One of my rescue radixes wanted fed during delivery. I never had that happen before. She was actively in a feeding response. Anyone else have this sort of thing happen. She ate and delivered. Babies were fine and Mom was full.

    Hate to think what would have happened if you hadn't been there to feed her, and her kids started looking an awful lot like nightcrawlers.

    I don't think it was anything like that. At least I hope not. I think it was just a response to me opening the enclosure. It's just that I've never had one do that before. Especially since she's one of my new ones. I could see if it were one that was used to me feeding them but this one has only been here a month.
