T. radix Ranch
Variety radixes
I was checking over the new additions to the Ranch when I saw these siblings in the corner. I guess I've been looking past some of the wonderful variety that occurs when a group is born. This group is very different than I'm used to. I have no history on the father. The female came to me as a rescue. I knew she was gravid but never expected 14 babies.

Here's the mom to these little scrubs. I was shocked to see 14 come out of her. She really packed them in.

It looks very interesting to see such diversity in a litter ... I saw quite a range in James' litter from last year ... just means there's something for everybody
Keeping - 'Florida blue' sirtalis, concinnus, infernalis, parietalis, radix, marcianus and ocellatus.

Nice coloring!
I am surprised mom is so small! How can you tell if she's gravid?

That photo of Mom was after the babies were born. Before you could have tied a rope on her and called her a balloon.

Ohh haha....I guess it would be very apparent if there were 14 babies in her!
