Re: Meadow's Babies (Free to a good home)

sadly i just discovered the runt dead in the cage.... he's been going downhill the past week so i'm not surprised..... but sad nonetheless.... he just never grew and thrived like the rest... no matter how much extra food and care i gave him..... aaa well...... he had a good life... even though it was way too short... RIP little guy.

Oh, that's a shame! But as a bunch, they are so cute I can hardly stand it! Does anyone know when it would be normal for wild garters to have young? I want to keep my eye out, I fear the little guys will not be as skilled as the adults at getting in and out of the house while avoiding the cats. It would be a shame for them to end up as cat snacks!

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of the little runt. Maybe we are given those special guys for such a little time to make us aware of the difference we can make in the world...
