The little man took a pinky from my son last night. He's doing just fine.
I heard him doing the wolf whistle at his new girlfriend. He's such a good boy.

Why didn't someone tell me T.s.parietalis multiply so fast. 2 weeks ago I had none now I have 4(3 female, 1 male)
When I got home from work today there was a brown bag on my front steps. Here's what was inside, a beautiful female. Other than a stub tail she's perfect.

    Don,
Tonight one of my students called and said they needed my address. They had a "Gardner Snake" snake that was injured and wanted to bring it to me. I first told them I had never seen a gardner snake before. They laughed and corrected themselves. I alway correct them in class when they make that mistake.
30 minutes later they pulled up in my driveway. Mom brought the young man to my door and apologized for interupting my evening. She said her son told her that I would know how to help the snake.
In the bucket was a gravid(?) dark phase radix. He said she had a cut back by her tail............ Yep, you guessed it. No cut at all, just an extended cloaca after musking. Seen it a thousand times before. Smelled it, also.
I assured him she would be fine and thanked him for being so concerned about her.
So, now one more mouth to feed and feed she did. The ranch is filling up. Everyone of them special in their own way. Life is good.
