Hudina and Little Dude

The garter that my niece caught is wild.. never been in a store.... I am so proud of her, she like snakes just like her aunty... now for the ball python..he/she has been eating really good since I got him/her last week. It keeps wanting to eat and since it is a baby I am letting it. I am not sure or how well petco fed my baby ball so I have just let it eat as it wants for the moment...

Man..... now I am really confused! I was doing a full tank cleaning today for Little Dude and Hudina, and Little Dude is getting huge...... Again some one remind me please ... Is the boy or girl suppose to be bigger? Little Dude is bigger then Hudina.

in garters, generally the girls tend to be bigger - sometimes a lot bigger

why not post photos of the 4" area around the vent (2" up to 2" down from the vent), so we can help you determine their genders; profile shots work best for me

Sometimes, when male garters get REALLY lonely (Or, it could be a display of dominance, who knows?) they copulate with other males. I've seen it twice, even between two different garter species.
