    Question feeder fish

I've been breeding/raising guppies for a while now, and I've used Fungus Clear by Jungle products. Would these guppies be toxic to a snake now that they have been treated for diseases?

I can understand if they are toxic while the antibiotics are active, but maybe after waiting a while until they are no longer active?

I dont want to poison a snake because I care about healthy fish, ya know?

I gave them a call and they recommend you waiting 4 to 5 weeks after treatment. I asked if the product was toxic to snakes. She stated that she could forsee problems if you don't wait the 4 to 5 weeks.
Hope this helps. Here's the customer service number 1-800-357-7104

Thanks, that does help a lot! I called them as well and the guy said its basically the same antibiotics that they also make for reptiles. However, its not good to give medication to an animal that doesnt need it. The best thing to do is put the carbon back in the filter when the fish are treated, then waiting a few weeks until the meds are cleared out.

After your fish are symptom free, you will want to do a partial water change. The water changes can be two weeks apart while you are waiting the 4 - 5 weeks, and this will help lower the amount of antibiotic in the fish.
