    A first for me?

Just went down to wake up my radixes in the basement. Checked on Speckle, who gave birth to 16 healthy little scrubs on Sunday. Lifting her hide I found a stillborn. I've never had this happen. Until now, it's been birthing in a small time frame(a few hours max). This is 4 days after she started. She started eating on Tuesday and seem to be her old self. Have any of you experienced this in your snakes.

I have never seen this, a few hours is all I've seen, but I'm sure it isn't rare or anything to worry about.

Thanks for your advice. I feel better about the whole thing. Maybe I've had the quick, full deliveries and I'm now experiencing the other end of the spectrum. I will have to watch her since I feel she still looks big. Maybe more babies to come but since the last 2 were stillborn it may not be such a good thing.

it's sort of sad and yucky at the same time
at least it was for me
I don't think Sammy felt anything about it one way or another
