    Wonderful job on the rescuing!
    If he doesn't recover enough to be released, then I hope you can adopt him. I had friends when I was a kid who got one that way, and he made a fabulous pet. Very smart birds!

    Just got back from the SPCA...They said he had to be put down...I'm kind of pissed because they said it was because the wing had a complete fracture, so why not amputate it!?I have lots of experiance and understanding with birds and could have more than cared for him!They tried to act like there was no other action they could have taken!!!If this were to ever happen again I would take it to a vet and say stick it to our 'native wildlife' laws!!JUST BS!!!!

    I told Marie I can understand their side of it some what, but still, he could have been saved so easily...I've seen them jump through greater hoops for lesser animals.It just really bothers me...
