hmmm......i should scan in and save the xrays I took in Michigan....took several to get used to the protable xray unit we had....xrays are reversed tho...one is of an eastern garter.
I've never tried to scan an x-ray. Have you done it before? Mine are photos. I have a large x-ray viewer and with a high res. camera it does very well. I also had to enhance the photos, taking out all shadowing. It really made them look pretty good.

Well, since this weekend has been a bust on saving money I decided to take Speckle in to get a x-ray. The word is that she's gravid and is heavy with eggs. The Vet thinks they are still developing since the eggs are not very big. He told me to expect a large(40+) clutch if they get fertilized.

This Garter (also a radix) had a kidney stone which is clearly visible. Unfortunately this snake died a few days after surgery. Please excuse the poor quality, the x-ray is over 15 years old and has begun to fade. It still shows the problem though.

Here's another x-ray photo of Speckle. A lot of detail with this one. Turned out nice.
Rather neat to see where the neck ends and the ribs begin.
