Finally! A good litter!
Twelve healthy and huge babies
The mother started eating in the last week of april. She stopped eating somewhere at the end of may. Since then, she hasn't eaten anything! Incedible, she didn't eat, she DID 'grow' babies and still she isn't skinny at all! Really one of natures wonders

these guys are all around 6 grams. My normal babies are between 1,5 and 2,5 grams...Can you imagine I said "they are huge" about 50 times when I found them!

I do have a question with the birth of these guys...
I've read a couple of times that these guys will only eat tadpoles in the early stage of their lifes. To me, that means they are born when tadpoles are abundant and that should be at the beginning of the rainseason. I tried to trigger birth (since I'm leaving saturday) and decided to mist the enclosure heavily every night. She now has given birht. Could there be some kind of connection between the misting and the rainseason theory?

Allright...the interesting stuff...
