I took a trip back to my old town and collected a few T. radix ... Was able to find a nice red one some fairly red T. radix around the same size also. 3 what look to be gravid females and a couple very young snakes. I have gone away from snakes for a while and keep many tarantulas. My father keeps around 15 pythons.. Reticulated pythons... Carpet pythons! I want to use these few T. radix to start up a little breeding project to focus on red! My county in Nebraska has put out really red T. radix and it would be cool to find some and breed in the future. I thought I had read the T. radix was a protected species here in Texas... I believe there will be a permit I'll have to pick up... I do know of another person who breeds and keeps this species in Texas... It'll be strange keeping these snakes. Tarantula care is not demading at all. Hopefully I post these correctly! Have not been on forums for a while!
