So, I'm getting a young checkered that is feeding on unscented pinkie parts.

My other snake is a Mexican Black King, and naturally does me the favor of eating his mice whole. So I'm not sure how to go about cutting up pinks!

These have apparently been getting their food cut lengthwise. Any...uh...advice on how best to do this? Is it relatively easy because their bones aren't very developed yet? Best done while frozen? What's easiest to cut them with?

This will be, by far, my least faovrite part of having a young garter, ha.
