Come along to meet some great like minded people.

As the title say's folks....

The West Midlands Branch IHS will be holding its Annual Symposium next week.
It will be taking place on Sunday 7th July
At Birmingham Nature Centre, Pershore Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham. B5 7RL
From 10am for first speaker at 10.30
Speakers are Mike Lindley (ex presenter of Survival amongst other things), who will be giving a talk on Reptile and Amphibians of Spain, in his usual inimitable way. Our second speaker is going to be Adam Radovanovic who works at the Centre and who is going to give us a talk on his trip to Komodo last year which he calls ‘Walking with Dragons’.
We have decided to drop from 4 speakers as per previous symposiums to just two, in order for visitors to only have to pay for the cost of entry to the Nature Centre, and not have to put towards the cost of the speakers. This will also give people more time in which to view the other wildlife and exhibitions at the Centre.
Entrance cost is £5 for admission to the centre.
As a local branch, we have often had talks from Adam and others and behind the scenes tours of the reptile area’s at the centre, and I feel it is a wonderfully informative Centre with lots to offer visitors.
