The female coast garter T. elegans terrestris gave birth today to a nice sized litter. At first I only saw one baby crawling around and I could tell the female was done, so I thought crap a tiny litter of only one baby, so I grabbed it, then another popped out of the substrate then another and another, soon they were popping out all over the place like popcorn, lol
Ended up with 17 good sized healthy babies. These guys develope more red/orange color with every shed, so it will be fun to watch them grow and develope.
See if you can count all the heads, hint one is mostly hidden but you can track the neck up to where the head is beneath another.
