Yesterday I suddenly saw blood all over one of my larger enclosures, a 4'x2' tank containing four females of similar size. Next thing I see is my Florida blue sirtalis, practically covered with bright red blood zooming all over the tank. So I get her out, rinse her off, and find that she has a tiny puncture on top of her neck - nothing big. So I bag her and go looking for the other snakes. The other sirtalis and the marci turn out fine, but the concinnus is swollen around the neck, and has blood dripping from her mouth. It turned out not to be as bad as it looked, and she's fine this morning. She's also in shed. I wonder whether this was a PMS thing.
