    Slow eye recovery

Many months ago I made a post about a male radix that was found on our back deck. He was easy to catch since I stayed on his right side. He never saw me coming. We call him Patch.
Since then I've been working very gently with his bad eye. In addition to the eye problem he also has some damage to his right supra-oculair and frontal head scales. For some reason they have turned black in color.
As you can see from the second photo the eye is cleaning up nicely. I think I've done all I can do for Patch. I hope to get an eye specialist to donate some additional work needed.
I still believe he is retaining some old eye caps that will need to be surgically removed. He is a great male and worthy of the investment. He was on our deck and didn't mind being caught. I think he heard about or free medical services. There's another benefit for this male, he has a beautiful pattern and will be joining the Stud Services Division of the Ranch. I'll get my money out of him

Here's what the head injury looks like.
