Eye problem with new puget? Advice please!

I noticed yesterday that my new female puget has one eye just slightly larger than the other, but it looked like the other one other than that. Today however I saw that the eye was all dark, couldn't see the pupil & that there was a bit of milky white at the buttom of the eye that was getting bigger even as I watched. Now the eye is almost all milky white. What do you think caused it? Should I take her to the vet? She's been rubbing that eye against the cage walls quite a bit, but other than that doesn't seem to be distressed or in pain. The pics aren't very good but hopefully you can see what I'm talking about. They were taken awhile ago & the eye is whiter now. There is two of the affected eye & one of the other eye.
