    Re: Kaboom(T.radix)

Thanks for your comment. Kaboom is an awesome snake.
I also have some other news with regards to Kaboom and his mother Boomerang.

My good friend Mark delivered to me a few weeks ago a great grandson of Boomerang. He has a smokin' hot orange dorsal.
Yes, I will post a photo very soon.

    Re: Kaboom(T.radix)

I wish I didn't have to report this but Kaboom is dead. Sunday he tried to escape from his new enclosure and was injured in the attempt.
For the first couple days he appeared to be OK but late last night I found him limp and unresponsive. This morning he was on his back but still alive.
I placed him in the bottom of the refrigerator and he passed.
I take full blame for his death. I failed to see an area that could have been a problem.
This ends a line of red T.radix. I do have one of Boomerang's grand kids. No red but an awesome orange dorsal.
    R.I.P. Kaboom.
    Please forgive me.

Sorry to hear this Steve. Don't beat yourself up too much, everyone makes mistakes and you make fewer than most of us, it's only when we don't learn and make the same mistakes again that you should feel really guilty. Accidents happen, it's regrettable that this one involved Kaboom.
