If there haven't been any issues from the worms I wouldn't worry about it.
I think that problems from red wiggler usually happen pretty quick.

What Steve said. They will get very upset after eating the bad ones. Within a few minutes there will obvious discomfort and usually vomiting.

Well, Izy apparently likes them. They are called "dendrobena" and I found out, even on this forum (Steve was writing about it), they are, in fact, red wigglers. But I hope you're right. They don't smell aful to me. I didn't see any negative reaction nor yellow slime.

But they are red, not pink, like typical nightcrawlers. I'm not good at recognising a species of earthworms though...

So, I assume, that if Izy isn't upset after eating worms I gave her - they're safe? After I gave her a worm today, after few minutes, she ate a smelt. No vomiting whatsoever. Right?

If they are indeed red worms they shouldn't be fed at all.

I won't feed her with those worms anymore. I'm just concerned they may affect her anyhow in a future in a wrong way...

I don't think you need to worry about that.

Also known as Eisenia hortensis. Negative reaction or not, I would stop using them right away. Your snake may have some particular immunity or adaptation to them, but the fact remains, they contain toxins. I don't care if I get my snake from a population known to be immune to newt poisons, I'm still not going to feed them poison.

In my early days before I knew better, I had snakes that ate them with no immediate apparent harm. But then again, I had a significantly higher number snakes drop dead for "no apparent reason" than I do now.

Like I said before, I won't give them to Izy anymore. Today I'm going to search legit earthworms, not "european".

    Re: Isis' diary.

Izy's fine. She has a new neighbor though. Meet Vita. I've got her today. When I opened the package, I was sure she was dead because of cold (the sender forgot to put in heatpack and suddenly the temperature dropped below 0, snow started to fall). She was cold and stiff. After a while I've even called the sender and told him the snake is dead and stuff. Yes, I was yelling. After an hour she still wasn't moving but I decided not to give up on her, I don't know why (I was sure she was dead). When I picked up her - I've noticed her tail has wiggled. It was almost unnoticeable, but I've put her in the warm water. Then I saw a big breath. After an hour! Wow!

This is a result after 6 hours:

Vita means "life" in latin. Before she was sent to me, she fled from her cage. The man that was sending her to me thought she was gone (there was too much oppurtunities to go outside, also, there was a cat present), but, by some miracle, she was found. Twice she avoided death by luck. She's a fighter and has strong will to live - that's why I called her like that. Now she's safe.
