Oh... OK. Anyway, you can see a difference in their thickness. Izy may be shorter but surely she isn't much thinner.

If you still have the mouse you should get a female mouse and then soon you can have some pinkies that you dont have to pay for. I was thinking about doing that some point down the line cause it seems cheaper in the long run when it comes to pnkies. That is just an idea.

I bred my own mice before and i will never do that again. If you figure up all the food and bedding and the adult mice you have to buy it cost about as much and you don't get a lot of pinkies and you can't control when you get them either. The smell will kill you if you don't change the cage every other day of course i did have 6 females to 1 male in each colony. The only benefit i gained was having extra small 1 day old live pinks for my small milksnakes.

I agree. Lucky smells awful and it's just one mouse. I had a few in the past and they were smelling horribly. The only reason I'm keeping Lucky is that Amon didn't eat him. That's one. Two: only Izy eats small pinks (well, she used to!), but now they are kinda too small for her (if she's actually eating, I give her fuzzies) - Kleo eats fuzzies and hoppers and Amon - big hoppers and adult mice. So there's no point in breeding mice in my case. Cheers.

I used to have 2 rats at one point a while ago and they were having babies left and right. I got them young and once they were old enough which didnt take long they were have like 8-10 babies at a time. It was crazy. I had to get rid of them because after 2 years with having them and even though we were holding them all the time they had gotten really aggressive and so they went to my cousin which kept them for another year and bred them for a bit cause they had a small snake and they ended up using the rats as food after that year cause they had gotten even more aggressive. It was a bummer too cause the male rat grew from about 5-6 inches to the size of a double decker huge burrito. He was huge and that was when I gave him to my cousin. I had no problem taking care of them. I have never taken care of mice before just rats so I dont know if they are the same as in for care but thats cool. I know I wont be doing it know but at some point maybe who knows it is just an idea.

    Re: Isis' diary.

Ok, day one. It seems that Izy doesn't pay a lot of attention about Kleo, but Kleo surely does! My beloved baby looks at Izy when she moves and keeps tracking about her movement. A few times I was worried that Kleo will actually bite Izy, but it never happened. Kleo was just rushing to look closer. Anyway, they kept their normal behaviour. Kleo's moving only when she needs a new spot to sit and Izy is everyhere! The funny thing is, Izy is way more jumpy than Kleo. Kleo's so much tame, that she has barely moved, when I was relocating her to the new cage - in the case of Izy's, she was jumpy as always. My God, there's something wrong with that picture - ribbon calmer than her roommate, garter. Anyone dares to explain?

Steve, you know that I call "Lucky" every feeder animal that is not eaten by my snakes, right? But eventually, they all get devoured.
