    Stealthy Snakes.

This morning I opened one of my big enclosure to see a group of females. Most of these girls have been with me from birth. They are adults and very calm. Even with their great attitudes I still have watch them as they like to go on a walkabout. After opening it up I has inundated with about 6 of these big girls. All wanting to see if I had food or just to climb on me. I kept a very close eye out to make sure no one escaped. After a few minutes of time I closed the door and got busy feeding and cleaning.
About 15 minutes later I noticed one of my dogs came into the big snake room. She seemed to be very interested in something. This usually means she's found a wayward snake that has found its way into the basement.
I moved a couple items and found my girl Tourette looking at me. She's one of the snakes from the enclosure I had just been in.
I am amazed that she was able to get out with me standing right there, watching. I'm sure it's just a combination of me being distracted with the others and these snakes ability to move silently. I'm also sure it had something to do with their color and pattern. My peripheral vision wasn't able to see her moving out.
From this little experience I can see how they are able to survive in the wild so well.
Anyone else had a similar situation happen to them?
