Eyecap didn't come off!!! Help me out here

Red shed. (hehe)

All of his Eyecap didn't come off... It's all around the edge of his eye..... What do I do?

A wet/warm cotton washcloth can be used to take it off. I would first use a shed box to up the moisture content if the eye cap, then uses the cloth.
Try to catch a piece of loose skin left behind to get it started. They usually pop off once lift slightly.

I just read in that "What's Wrong With My Snake?" book...that you should take a cotton swab with water on it and try to swab it off gently...use a circular motion to swab the eye area with gentle pressure for 15 minutes and if it doesn't come off wait a couple of days and try again. I don't know about sitting there and doing that for 15 minutes straight. But I know it's important to get it off. Other members may tell you something else to try...I know when my snakes have had some retained shed on their faces, I have used my fingernail to gently pick it off...if you think you can get to it without hurting his eye, you could try to do that.

Yeah...I was wondering about the shed box. You should do as Steve says and put him in there first....

Just use a damp cloth and rub firmly on the eye. It works every time for me

Just wipe the towel across the eye with some pressure.
Is it just the eye cap that didn't come off or are there some scales in the area also?

God he's cute! His color is gorgeous! No it won't be hard, Jesse...put him in the shed box and then take a cloth like Chantel said, or just take the cotton swab and go around the eye where you see the shed pieces there...you won't hurt his eye...if it stays on...that could really hurt his eye or blind him. If you can hold him like you are holding him in that picture, you should be able to get at the area.
