It's just another day for me as well. Though, I might do a shot of dragon fruit vodka... Or add it to my ginger ale. Other than that, my day is going to be spent with my boyfriend... Likely him making me play Portal and laughing at my failure of a brain.

Kids are having a sleepover. Maybe 10 extra bodies in the house.
I'll have to force myself to stay awake past midnight.

    Re: Happy New Year

We're just heading over to friends house (we go there every year, this year their girls are old enough to stay up) to eat, beat the rest of Maria's family at Trivial Pursuit, I'll have _a_ drink because Char doesn't drive and we need to get home. So it should be a good evening, we may even make it to midnight.

Have a good night everyone (and good luck Steve, kids sleeping over, you'll need it).

    Re: Happy New Year

I will watch the music shows on t.v. with my son and eat some seafood and hopefully some fondue...then watch the ball drop and if I can stay awake maybe call Steve on skype and see how he is holding up with the sleepover!

Tomorrow we will watch the parades and my son and I were going to go to Longwood Gardens...which is this really beautiful outdoor/indoor flower/plant garden display that they do up for Christmas every year...but I will have to see how I am feeling with this virus...

    Re: Happy New Year

    All the best everyone

I'll just be having a quiet one as I'll be driving to the airport at about 7am tomorrow. So, a lot of this evening will be packing, checking, fretting over Fawn, etc ... I will toast the new year in with a sherry at midnight though
