new pics of white water snake

This big girl went into shed the other day, which I was impatiently waiting for since I got her, always good when a new acquisition gets that first shed out of the way.

Here she is before the shed, shedding, and after the shed.. I watched her shed for 20 minutes or so, since I wanted to see how white she actually is, some parts of her body turned pinkish. Almost like she was bleeding... I'm not sure if that's just irritation on the skin from shedding or what? None of my pictures show the coloration though so it doesn't seem like a serious issue. Before shedding she pounded down 9 shiners, I only got one decent picture of the feeding though and haven't had any luck uploading it yet.

And the one real concern I had with this snake was the last bit of her tail, it just looked like exposed bone rotting away, after the shed her tail looks good!

Yup she's a FL Green water, a buddy of mine down in FL knows of a locality of Green waters that are bright red.... I'm kind of hoping I can obtain one of those to eventually breed into the white strain.

Here I go again on my own,
Going down the only road I've ever known.

    Someone had to say it.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
