    Roof Roof said the radix

We are expecting temps. near 100 today with high humidity so I decided to cut the grass early this morning. Getting that done I returned the mower to the shed and walked back to the house. I started checking the roof as I approached the house. I try to keep sticks and other debris off of it.
Suddenly something caught my eye. It looked like a stick was caught under the flashing between the two additions. I stopped walking and concentrated on that area. Just then the stick moved and pulled back under the flashing. Smart snake. As soon as he knew I was watching him he retreated. It looks like I have a radix in my attic.
Well, maybe not my attic but their up on the roof now.
I'm sure he climbed the inside of the siding and made his way up. I love my house other than the wet basement.

We recently had a small colony of about 12 bats decide that our front porch was home. I'd have preferred snakes

Bats are awesome. I hold them a close second to my amphibians as the only "pesticide" I need to be happy.

Any bats in my area should be having a good year as the mosquito population in out of control.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
