I was delivered this beautiful Ribbon Snake today. It was abandoned by it owner and has made its way to the Ranch.
This photo doesn't do this female justice, much of the blue in her face is lost.
8-supralabials
Scale rows 3&4 for the lateral stripe.
Western Ribbon Snake (Thamnophis proximus) to the best of my abilities.

If it immediately bites you, messes on you, or temporarily escapes, it always ends up being a good pet (random hillbilly superstition). Good looking snake; I love ribbons.
