Last years High red parietalis projects...

Two quite stunning animals from last year. Both unrelated to each other, but sadly, both males....
It seems all the good looking animals are males

First up, high red with lots of red. Almost no black on this little guy! Its hard to see, but all scales are closely aligned.
I can increase the red by 400% or something by feeding them just before I take picture, but I believe this animal is stunning in its own right. No need to fatten this guy up to make it more colorfull!
(....... just imagine how he would look if I did .... )

Second is an animal with the right kind of red. This dark and intense red is what I'm really looking for and I'm hoping to produce more animals like this, with the markings of the animal above.... He has a lot more black, but makes up for that with his reds...

Those are stunning! About how long are they now? It's hard to tell without a reference.
