Should I worry?

For the first time in Orochi's life had a trouble shedding as in instead of her usual shed she still retained some.

Anyway should I worry her being gravid and all makes it a little hardier to bathe etc

any advice thanks

It's hard to say looks like a bit below her head but she's a bit nervous so its hard to get a good look at her

I hope I can find a box big enough seems to hard enough to locate one, she's a big snake and fat at the minute

Any appropriate sized plastic container will work. Try an old (washed out) salad container even or some other takeout container will work in a pinch too.

You can also try it manually too with just wet a towel with lukewarm water and handle her in the towel for a good 15 minutes or so. Just her slithering in through the folds will wet the skin and the action of her moving will eventually allow her to slough it off. That's only if you're comfortable handling her in her condition & aren't able to provide a humid hide or shed box.

It's not a serious situation though as long as she's shed the tail and head particularly, the rest will eventually come off. The main concern being retained shed cutting off circulation in the tail tip and/or retained eye caps.

I decided to do something yesterday for her, as she was skittish and refused to let me touch her I decided to try something, I got a lunch box lid and placed some damp spragham moss and damp kitchen roll, luckily within a few hours she realized what I was trying and she was there again this morning and much of her skin is now off.
She had a few bits that I was unable to see because she was hiding on me.

She is still eating like a savage 2 pinkies and then 2 more yesterday.

As long as the head and tail are shed and the retained shed is in pieces I don't think you have much to worry about.

I must ask, damp kitchen roll? Not familiar with that one. Guessing kitchen towel?
