I'm thinking about buying a second garter snake. Would prefer to buy it localy because of the price of shipping. Are any of you garter snake breeders located in or near raleigh?

Would prefer a Red sided garter but I'm cool with any species.

But, Nick, Scott is able to ship to Germany. So shipping to Canada should be a breeze for him

I did this year. Unfortunately, none of the babies made it. An adult anery male concinnus was the only one that made it to it's Canadian destination alive and in good health. I was very disappointed. I'll likely try again next year. One or two import shipments going to Canada each summer. This time I'll plan better so they don't have to sit for 3 weeks at the importers in Daytona Beach FL. They don't have much experience with keeping garters, let alone month old babies.

Seriously? I had no idea Scott Felzer was in my city! I just found his website, saw that he was sold and closed the window to look for someone else.

You are going to have to wait until spring most likely anyhow to buy from a breeder.
