Strange Bedfellows

Tonight was as good night as my Hypo Female Bull Snake started eating again. She had been off food for about a month.
While I was feeding her a few mice, I was shocked to see a young radix come out of her hide. The radix came out as if to say "where's mine".
I scooped her up and offered a mouse tail. She ate it and two others. I have no idea where she got out of but she made her way into the Bull snake's enclosure.
I'm glad the little one didn't get crushed.

What a beautiful snake. I don't know much about bull snakes, just the basics. Can you tell me a little about them?? What are they like as pets??

I would have to disagree with you.
I think sieve is a little two strong a word.
There is also the chance this was a wild visitor.
Maybe it's more like my house leaks like a sieve
Too be honest, I do think this was one of mine that escaped.

As for the possibility that it was a wild visitor, I don't see how that makes the enclosure and less sieve-like.

Never everyday and I get a lot of wild visitors all year long.

This was a small(4-6 month old) radix that entered an enclosure that was built for an almost 7 foot Bull Snake. I would never try to house small snakes in an enclosure like this. It is Bull Snake escape proof.

All things said, I am thankful the little radix was able to get in. It had access to a warm hide and fresh water.
