In my small snake room I have an aquarium setup for snakes found in the basement.
This aquarium sits on a small table I use for food preparation.
Tonight, while I cut some night crawlers up I saw those snakes watching me intently. They would look at me, then the food. It wasn't for them so I was feeling a little guilty.
I did drop a few pieces in to them and they made short work of it.
These are wild snakes that have made their way into the basement. Most of them have only been with me for a week or so and they've already figured out the routine.
