    Granite? Erythirstic Eastern

I hadn't paid much attention to this female this summer because I didn't think she had much red for a Erythristic so I had kinda written her off as a dud, but today I was feeding and I took her out held her up by the window and I was amazed at what a beautiful swan she had grown up to be, and man she has a wiked reduced granite pattern, so now I am super excited about breeding her this spring. She will be 2 yrs old this spring and has really put on some size this summer. I'm now thinking she has tremendous designer combo potiential!!!

Is there any schuett albino in there? That would explain the pattern.

Scott sent me one just like that two years ago. It looked IDENTICAL!!! It was WC from florida... no blue, just brown! I kind of see the granite-like pattern but I've seen it so many times that I never really looked at it that way before. My female ery het schuett has that pattern as well. I actually find it to be less appealing than the deep heavy checkers of some easterns (then again I also think that snows are ugly....no offense )

patterns on sirtalis sirtalis are highly variable and this proves that, patterns on the red morph easterns(or related) tend to be more "broken up" from what i have seen, good luck with her deputy

Looks like the almight, all knowing, "Wizard of Oz has spoken". Thank you, thank, thank you soooo much Joe, now I actually really, "really" know exactly whats going on, all thanks to you Joe, I guess I may as well just put her in the freezer now that I know that she is just another highly variable pattern and that "tends" to be the case with erys so nothing to be excited about.....or should I just send her to you? lol

Seriously, there is no doubt a lot of variablility pattern exists in easterns, but I still think she is on the extreme end of that, and of course weather that will be in some way inheritable, so that I can exploit that trait with other morphs (like the silver for example), is definately "to be seen and proven", but I still think its worth trying.
