    Here's some recent litters I have had....

    Man, Don, those Northwesterns in the second pic are from that orange 3 stripe female I send to you. I didn't expect them to be so dark! The tub doesn't help really. I found it's easier to get better pics of the babies if I place them in a jar and take pics from above in a well-lit room. The white of the paper towel throws off the camera and makes the babies look darker than they really are.

    But still, I can't help thinking that my red stripe girl litter and yours, might just get more color in the stripes when they get older... I don't know. Never raised any that far.

    they are a nice gray color. almost all of them have the row of spots on the side stripe, but the row along the vertebral stripe are fused forming black stripes along the lighter vertebral stripe. will get close up shots later and post.

    Please do, I'm having a hard time picturing your description. Anyway, all the babies from my much smaller red stripe girl look like this. Some are more silvery gray than brown, but all have a row of dark dots on their sides.
