    Talking Surprise surprise

    I got home from vacation today and to my surprise what did i see a tiny garter snake and upon inspection 27 little scrubs no jellies no stillborns aparently one of my female easterns is just a large boy. had them for three years and not one litter. i guess i wasnt feeding my female to much!

    wish i could but i dropped my camera into the water at the beach they day before i was going home and i cant believe its broken right when i need it !!!!!!
    i mad at myself as usual but they are ssoooooooo cute oh and can i realease them soon or do i have to wait till next spring?

    I'm no breeder but if you plan on releasing them release them a.s.a.p because they need time to find a good hibernating area, or you could hold on to them until spring and release them then

    Agreed ^^^ Time is running out. Keep them and feed them well and release in the spring or release them NOW.

    Be sure to release in an area where their own kind can still be found, or near a known den site for their own kind.

    Right around sunup or sundown, near water, where there is plenty of cover, would be the best time of day and location to release. And, spread them out a bit. Predators tend to take notice if they are grouped together.

    im going to keep them until the spring so that they get larger because there itsy bitsy and dont have to goood of a chance of survivieng at the moment
