    Richards Fabulous new ordinoides

    I've been seeking and seeking and finally, a jewel acquired today. Gorgeous adult female ordinoides, and in late stages of being gravid. Beautiful solid red and well defined, thick, and did I say red dorsal stripe?

    Gorgeous! Oh, and I finally figured out the tricks to get my cam to produce real color. Awesome gravid female. Babies, if true to mom, should be popular. If she feeds well and has live offspring, I'll be keeping her for the long term. Offspring coming soon!

    Saw no concinnus today . Red stripe northwesterns are not so elusive afterall. It cannot possibly be non-obtainable when fought with persistence!

    Oh, and you're not going to believe this but here goes: I got a northwestern that looks like that awesome 3 striper in the "shh.. oh so quiet.." thread. You know, the one on the seattle wildlife website, found int the puget sound:

    They're like twins! It is a male acquired today:

    Fabulous "caramelo" gravid ordinoides;

    although a "plain brown" oridinary garter, this girl has a lovely rich caramel color and some earthy orange like colored clay look going on. It's very pleasant.

    Noted. I think you're 3rd or 4th on the list. Will inform everyone of the results once she pops. None will be sent out until they are feeding well though.

    What a pretty girl- but I have to know- did you get her at a show/breeder, or did you snag her from the wild?

    Very nice. Love that red stripe!

    A friend out here had some great ordinoides babies last year but sadly managed to lose every last one of them in a heating mishap before I had a chance to get any.
