    Strange colored T.radix

This is a repost to a thread that was lost a month or so ago.

This little female came from Ian. She is the lightest colored and strangest colored radix I've ever seen. Her name is VP(vanishing pattern). She's gravid now and eating like a pig. She conceived on 3/3/2010 and weighted 73g. Now she's 84g and looking good. She bred with a little red phase named Opie. She was very wild when I got her but now is as calm as could be. Her colorings remind me of some Easterns(Thamnophis Sirtalis Sirtalis) I've seen.
She different from any other radix I have and a welcome member of the Ranch. Looking forward to see how this vanishing pattern and light colors blend with the red of the male she bred with.

Very nice garter, from the moment I start looking to become a garter keeper (just few weeks ago ) I look for as many infos and pictures I can, but I have to say despite my preference for red garters, your picture from the head of your radix make me say : "Wow!! What a beautiful animal it is."

As I was thinking of it I ask myself : why not share this with you that's the why of my comment

I apologize to all of you who take offense to my simple mindedness, but I would love to see that girl breed with a Axanthic individual!

    Incredible Steve!!!

I happen to know where an awesome one is and I'm sure I could borrow it this Fall. He's still young but might be of breeding size by Fall.

If both genes can be fully expressed simultaneously, (I have doubts) could you imagine?
