    Talking my digging snake

Hello, I was looking in my garter snake's tank and i thought that he had escaped. I looked around a second time and i discovered that he had dug through the aspin shavings in his tank. he seems to enjoy this because everytime i put his head by the hole he goes right in. What could i use for like a little maze/tunnel thing for him.

My babies like a cardboard box with a lot of hole poked in it.
Garters love to be inside something with just their heads sticking out. I drill holes in branches after I've bake them. Baking @ 200 degrees for 30 minutes or longer will kill any bugs that might be using the branch as a home. Making sure the holes are large enough so your snake can't get stuck is important.

I use a old bird bath for a water bowl for one of my snakes. It is all hollow and he loves to hide in there.

I bet you could have some fun with some PVC pipes. You'll just have to be careful not to build anything he could get stuck in.

I have egg crates and paper towel tubes in with my snake and my geckos, they seem to like to sleep in them most of the time. It's cute seeing my snake all curled up in the egg crate with his little head poking up the side
