    Hi

    Hi,
I'm new here and I was wondering what type of garter snake morphs are your favorites? I might be getting one soon. Thanks for your input.

    Hi LeapinLeo,

I really like black and red snakes, particularily T.s. concinnus and T.s. infernalis. Since we can't own T.s. tetrataenia in the U.S., I try not to think about them too much. Like James said, though, there aren't a whole lot of Thamnophis that I don't like.

    Re: Hi

Welcome Leapingleo. I have both Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis (Eastern Garter) and Thamnophis sirtalis concinnus Oregon-Red spotted. I love them both, but the Red-spotted of mine are easier to handle and accept a more varied diet much more readily than do the Easterns.

    Welcome to the forum, Leo
That's the biggest drawback about being into Garters. There so many beautiful ones, it's really quite a dilemma . . .

    Re: Hi

In this moment I think my Thamnophis hammondii are the most beautiful.
    But next week... who knows.

Fons, you have T. hammondi? Will you be breeding from them?
