Hello from Utah.
Hey, I just moved to Utah from New York about a month ago and just got into garters around the same time. Well I guess I have almost always been into them seeing as how as a kid I was always catching them(most common/easy to catch snake in NY). I've recently started looking into them again seriously as pets though. Anyone know of any garter breeders in the SLC area?

I actually saw your tank of garters at the Wasatch show haha. Didn't even know of the forum then. I'm looking for a relatively cheap starter that looks good. I know a bit about snakes and actually have 10 at the moment. 6 ball pythons, 2 kenyan sand boas and two baby yellow bellied racers.

Eh I doubt it. I was talking more to the ball python vendors there. I definitely noticed the garters and even pointed out how they can be pretty (my girlfriend thinks they are boring). Would you mind PMing me some info/prices. Maybe we could work something out.
