Now that the "sick-season" has arrived, I was wondering whether it is possible for my snakes to get sick from me. Can snakes catch different forms of the cold or flu from us? Should I limit handling my snakes if I'm sick? From what I've read, snakes can't catch the human cold...Is this true?

Yea, I am almost positive that snakes don't catch our colds!! other wise my guys would be sick half the year!!!

As far as I know are virusses of mammals not active in reptiles.
Bacteria is something else. Mammals can infest reptiles and vice versa. Maybe not all bacteria, but some.It is always advisable to be a loser if you cannot become a winner.
