    radix babies

It appears that one of the snakes I rescued from my lawnmower was apparently gravid. I took it to school and one of my students noticed a baby in the tank at school on friday...after much digging we have 10 healthy Radix babies. My students all want to take them home...think I'll make sure mom and dad think this is a good idea first...lol.

Those newborns are going to need some special care for awhile. Getting them eating is a first priority.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

Soon they're going to have slogans all over the tv, radio and school:

Stop the spread of Thamnophis addiction. Just say no.

Snake dealers are targeting the younger generation, talk to your kids about saying no to Thamnophis.

Sorry, it's just what came to mind. Congratulations!
Which is more tempting: The fruit of knowledge or the possessed, talking serpent? DUH! - The Serpent!

5 ate the first day...I'll keep trying the others. My eastern babies ate like pigs last year...hopefully the radix babies will do likewise.
