    Post-shipping questions ...

I'll hopefully be getting two garters in two days & had a few questions. The general wisdom with corn snakes is to leave them pretty much alone for the first week with lots of water & no food or handling. Is it the same for garters? Or with their faster metabolism should they be offered food sooner? What is the usual time frame for feeding, handling, ect. after shipping? Thanks!

It's the same with garters, but you can start offering them food after a few days. Most of my garters have started eating within three days. I normally don't handle my snakes, unless it's absolutely necessary, but I usually don't even try until they've started eating.
