    Broken and beautiful

Here's a 1 hour old radix with some real developmental problems. Her body wants to keep going back to its shape in the womb. I think the next day will tell whether or not she makes it. She will require some special attention. Not a problem.

    Hope she makes it, Steve.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

    Re: Broken and beautiful

I've made a decision to put this little one down. I've given her 3 days to show some signs of mobility, signs that she'll be able to live some kinds of normal life. I have not seen any signs. I spent an hour evaluating her and she unable to perform any movements with control. She would be unable to get a drink of water or move to food. I love her little face and am struggling with what I have to do. My heart and head are in total conflict. It must be done and I hate it.

    Re: Broken and beautiful

Oh, Steve, I'm so sorry. Just think about how much nicer it has been for her during her short time on here. And she won't have to starve or go through dehydration. Your role is to relieve her pain, and were I her, I'd thank you for it. Do what you must with a heavy heart, as it should be, but a clear conscience.

Bright Blessings for the little Crooked One.
