Silly pony, snakes are for people!

Yesterday evening while i was waiting for my ponies to finish their dinner i decided to go looking for snakes in their pasture. I had seen snakes out there before and theres a few big old heavy barrels around the field they like to hang out it. I tipped one over and caught a juvenile eastern garter and was looking him over when i felt something on my arm. I guess i had been more involved in checking out the baby than i though b/c i hadn't even noticed my pony walking up. He was pretty convinced whatever i had in my and was edible and he wanted a bite....i guess he missed the memo that horses are supposed to be scared of snakes lol.

On a completely unrelated note my wild caught snake is going through her first captive shed...annnnnnd i think she may be gravid. Hopefully ill know for sure in a couple weeks!
