    Spring!

Well, it's spring here right outside of Houston. We already have 80 degree temps, which means the herps are out again! So far I have caught 2 green anoles, 2 Mediterrainian geckos, and 1 Texas brown snake! If I get bored I'll go take some pics of some lizards and such outside so all you guys in the snow can feel sorry for yourselves.

I miss the snow though, obviously there isn't as much here(none) as there was in West Virginia.

We're up to 1 degree celsius at the moment (7:15AM). It might go as high as 3-5 degrees later.

The first Vipera berus was spotted days ago. They don't even wait for the snow to melt.

It's already hot here now, and I hate hot. I saw some lizards when I went swimming though.

    Re: Spring!

Nice to see someone else is getting nice weather. Last week we had 20(f) degree weather with 1 and 1/2 feet of snow and less than 5 days later it was 70(f) degrees and sunny. I wish I had that day off from work because I would have been searching the property for snakes. Hopefully this 50(f) degree weather will heat up a little more so I'll actually spot something on my walks ;P
Good luck to all this year in their searches.
